Had an occasion to visit the Outer Banks recently. While there we stopped by Kitty Hawk to see where the first powered flight took place. It was a pretty interesting stop although the actual museum leaves a bit to be desired. Regardless, the weather was beautiful and the view of the ocean from atop of the small hill was quite nice.
