I have been tweeting for 2 years, 7 months, 4 days, 5 hours, 19 minutes, 57 seconds. No wondery why I am so tired.
Maka's Surf Shop is the playground of mine, Matthew Gallagher. Maka, as I was told by a nice Hawaiian man I met during my honeymoon, is the closest Hawaiian equivalent to Matthew. It sounded like a strong name, and I adopted it over time for this site.
